“Is This Just How Life Is Now?”

Is This Just How Life Is Now?

At some point, most of the women I work with have had that moment, the quiet pause between meetings or the minor breakdown in the car park, where they think:

“Wait… is this just it now?”

Like:

You wake up tired.

Your mind’s racing off before you’ve even opened your eyes.

You run on caffeine, responsibility, and some vague sense of impending doom.

The to-do list is eternal.

And the only thing that slows the spin is wine and doomscrolling (followed by guilt about the wine and the doomscrolling).

And then you do it all again.

Rinse. Repeat. Forever?

It can really feel that way.

But here’s the thing:

That background hum of anxiety, the overthinking, the low-grade exhaustion, that’s not who you are.

It’s not personal.

It’s what happens when you don’t realise how your mind actually works.

Nobody ever told you that thoughts aren’t truth. Or that your feelings aren’t a problem to solve. Or that peace of mind isn’t something you have to earn through a better morning routine.

Once you start to see that your experience is coming from thought in the moment, not your inbox, or your childhood, or your hormones, things start to shift.

Not because you’ve changed your life, but because you’ve seen through the noise.

It really is simpler than we’ve been led to believe.

If you’re holding it all together but quietly wondering how long you can keep doing that –

There is another way.

And it doesn’t involve yoga retreats, cold plunges or getting up at 4:45am.

If this feels familiar and you’re curious to talk, I’m always up for a no-pressure conversation. You can message me here.
